In time for New Year’s Resolutions and goals for bettering finances, we bring to you, “Budgeting for Dummies!” Our knowledgeable presenter will discuss budgeting basics and how to understand what you’re seeing in financial statements. Whether it be your own finances or volunteering on a board, knowing how to do some basic financial analysis is important for good decision making with money.
Beth Fondell has been with Owatonna Public Utilities as Chief Financial Officer since 2011. Previously she held financial management positions in a variety of industries including public higher education, collectibles, auto loan financing, and agricultural commodities. Beth also has experience in public accounting and internal auditing. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Minnesota State University, Mankato and is a Certified Public Accountant.
